Farmers, walmart and ourselves
Interesting and disturbing perspectives about farming in USA when compared to India- The scene about labour, fertilisers (input costs), grading and quality is the same there!
It becomes difficult to position ourselves as mere consumers when the example of size of the onion is mentioned.
After understanding the concepts of marketing, positioning, brand building, it appears that farmers dont see the way that the professionals do. This may apply to coops, producers companies as well as corporations!
